Are you making your life harder? Choose the right phone

April 22, 2021
Phones

While there are plenty comparison websites you can visit to scrutinise over every detail of all phones on the market, you still may find it hard to choose. Hours can be spent and left leaving your question still un-answered. Which phone is best for me? Well, here is a helping hand.
On the market right now, some of the top options:

- Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra
- iPhone 12
- Google pixel
- Samsung Galaxy S20
- And the iPhone SE (2020 model)

The key to what phone works best for you is in the right balance between easy personal use as well as making work activities labour-free. If your phone is to be used for business, everyone should look at these categories.

Device life
You want to be able to charge your handset over-night and take it to work in the morning knowing that it will last the full working day. If you travel for work, you want the reliance that your phone will not give out if you are short a charging point.

Durability

We have all done it.  Dropped our phone whilst trying to multi task, smashed the screen or dropped it in the sink or worse down the toilet!!  Many of the new models now are more shock resistant and water resistant and in some cases water proof.  A must for those  busy work/holiday trips away.

Size matters

While some people prefer a smaller handset for leisure use of a mobile phones, using these for work can be tricky. The bigger the screen, the better. On top of putting less strain on your eyes, carrying out work on your phone is just easier with a bigger screen. Plain and simple, no frustration with the little accuracy you have with your fingers on a smaller phone.

Now, a comparison between two of the market leading handsets:

iPhone 12

Battery life: 2,815 mAh

We are all guilty for staying with what we know. Apple have been leaders in the market for a long time and it’s understandable why. Everyone knows how to use them! The Samsung note 20 ultra is the winner in most categories that would be seen as essential for business use. Does this mean you should get this over the iPhone 12 though?
